Company History
Emmalex Associates Ltd was founded in 1991, by Ugo Emmanuel and Alex Okeke. The acronym Emmalex is a combination of the two names- Emma and Alex. In 1994, the company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission as a limited liability business, pursuant to the companies and allied matters act, and also with the National Film and Video Censors Board. It commenced business as a movie distribution and marketing outfit and later started core movie making with the production of their first movie “compromise” in 1996. So-far the organization has produced and marketed over 35 movies. From a humble beginning in 1991,Emmalex Associates Ltd, is today a household name among movie audiences within and outside the shores of Nigeria.

Emmalex Productions : In charge of story development, field production of movies and audio visual promos.
Emmalex Studio : Responsible for camera and edit studio rentals, sales of movie making materials.
Emmalex Consult : For media and management consultancy services.
