Cool FM 96.5
96.9 COOL FM is a wholly private radio station, which commenced operation on October 1st (Nigeria's Independence Date), 1998 with a coverage area of the South West of Nigeria.
The station was licensed (Licensed No.0011 ) by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), in October 1997. The time in between was used to acquire and install the most up-to-date digital broadcast equipment available worldwide.
96.9 Cool FM has a SASS Hard Drive Server, with a capacity for over 30,000 song titles. Traffic scheduling and billing is done using the DARTS Software, which is almost industry standard worldwide.
The station also has a fully functional digital production studio in-house 96.9 Cool Fm broadcasts 24 hours nonstop on 96.9 MHz on the FM band, and is an Urban Adult Contemporary station.
Cool F.M. Abuja is now working, becoming the only 24-hours Radiostation in our capital city.
