Alawaye ventures was incorporated in march 2002 (22-03-2002) as a business names with registration no LAZ 13044 to engage in varieties of activities such as; Importer, Exporter, Producer, Scriptwriter, Entertainers, Film Productions, Advertisement, Promotion of Artistes, Broadcasters, Television personnel, Marketing and Distribution of Video Films (CD,VCD,VHS) and General Merchandise.
The company began operation in small scale in 1990 as a retailer of film with only fourteen films on it’s counter but as a result of handwork, humility and dedication the company soon became not only a marketer but a notable one with more that two awards to it’s credit and now operates from its corporate headquarters at no 135/137 Nnamdi Azikwe street Idumota, Lagos.
The company, Alawaye ventures has released, marketed and distributed over twenty film into the home video industry in Nigeria among which are;
ORO MASOKO, MOFE TOKAN TOKAN, MOSOPE, TANI ELERI MI, NKAN ASIRI, ADELEBARE, IDAJO ANU, ENITI OKAN MI FE, ETO IKOKO, and just released and still selling are IMORAN IKA, AWOLUMATE, DOKITA ALABERE, ALAGBE, PAKUTE OLODE to mention but a few.
